Taking Stock

reflect

(Stole  this from Kirst at The Jolly Jammer, borrowed fromKeri at Midlands Musings, who got it from The Daybook, who got it fromMeet Me at Mike’s. Shew.)

It’s been a while since I did something non-bookish. Huzzah. Words. Things. Me.

Making: peace with the things I cannot change.
Cooking: up plans for better days.
Drinking: red wine
Reading: Paper Towns by John Green
Wanting: a resolution.
Looking: pretty fly for a whit guy (girl).
Playing: Torchlight 2. Still.
Wasting: an hour I could be doing yoga sitting on my blog.
Wishing: Chipnicks weren’t so delicious.
Sewing Knitting: Um…no.
Enjoying: an evening on my couch.
Waiting: for an answer.
Liking: ‘Wrecking Ball’ by Miley Cyrus. It’s a shit hot track.
Wondering: how I finished these Chipnicks so fast.
Loving: letting this all slide off my back. I’m a duck, you’re the water.
Hoping: that 2014 is a better year.
Marvelling: at how many friends are getting married.
Needing: a haircut.
Smelling: the roses in my flat.
Wearing: PJ pants already. Awww hell yeah.
Following: wherever the tide takes me.
Noticing: the light. So much more of it.
Knowing: that I am powerless.
Thinking: about the girl who killed her mother and how fucked things can get.
Bookmarking: My place in Paper Towns. Not used to reading a real life book. Kindle spoils me.
Giggling:  at the dance moves I pull when alone in my flat.
